Caroline Wood graduated from Nottingham Trent University in 1995, where she achieved a BA Hons degree in Interior Architecture and Design.

She had worked for leading London based design practices, specialising in the international hotel and leisure industry, before deciding to set up on her own as a freelance designer. She now takes on both commercial and residential projects.

Caroline will aim to adopt a more eco friendly ethic within her design work. One example is that she will always look at what can be retained within an existing interior first, from the point of view that it benefits the environment and the client’s budget.

She has a keen eye for all forms of art, and continues to pursue her own art work through her watercolour, oil and acrylic painting as well as pastel drawing and collage work.

Many people regard interior design as being the preserve of the wealthy, but Caroline fervently believes that everyone should be in reach of design solutions at affordable rates.

Her designs evolve from the principle that most importantly, they respond to the clients' needs, then, the function and the aesthetic can collaborate successfully.
